For your business. In your market.

SHOW THE WORK. KEEP THE CONTEXT.

Evidence, not a magic number.

Our research approach is built around specific questions, dated observations and changes you can inspect.

What we would record

The exact customer question, the intended location, the assistant, the observation date, the answer and any visible sources. Named-business checks and unbranded discovery questions are kept separate.

What we would compare

Whether a business was mentioned, whether its site was cited, whether the details were accurate and whether the next step worked. Repeated observations use a consistent setup where practical, with variations noted.

What we would not claim

A mention is not a customer. An observed answer is not a permanent ranking. A source appearing beside a recommendation does not prove what caused it. We do not turn a small sample into a claim about an entire market.

Where are the benchmarks?

NearMention has not published an original market benchmark on this website. We have not reproduced another company’s index or presented its data as our own. This page describes our proposed measurement method, not completed client research.
